I love Lily's eye for detail (for instance what she says about placement of the stripes). She really thinks about everything. I am now knitting the calm night cami, my first Lily Kate pattern. I love knitting it and I love the way it's turning out.

I find polka dots so incredibly charming ! Your attention to detail and fit is divine. This will be my first color work knit. Perhaps you could do a podcast explaining tips/ tricks of color work knitting to make it less scary.

I bought CalmNight Cami but haven't knit it yet. I am thinking of using and searching silk to match m per g. I love the design.

Your colourwork approach also avoids the way that wedges exaggerate a large bust. My shoulders are much narrower than my bust and a big wedge makes me look less like I need a balcony bra and more like I need a mezzanine! I avoid colourwork because of that but your dots and dashes don’t do that visual widening thing. You’re a genius. I’m here for it!

Idk how this video got almost 1000 likes. You’re constantly distracting your audience, from talking about noises outside to picking at hairs to the knitting being covered by your fingers AND the knitting is blurry. Ugh. And to add on to that you’re slipping stitches off and not saying you do it. You’re not describing what you’re doing enough for a video that is supposed to be teaching. Usually I would move on but I stupidly started following what you were doing and now I’m forced to try to decipher your video. Christ

Just found your podcast. I like your designs but they do seem to be on the expensive side.

Lovely to see all these designs and understand a bit more about the process for designing. In terms of future designs, I’d love to see another cardigan, with Lily-esque neat, fitted set in sleeves 😅 In my head the perfect cardigan would be a longer, much less oversized version of Calm Down Cardigan…. Still an every day classic, but a wee bit more form fitting.
